4.57 p.m.

EARL STANHOPE

My Lords, I propose that we should now adjourn until to-morrow at three o'clock.

LORD SNELL

May I ask if the noble Earl is able to say anything about what the business is likely to be to-morrow?

EARL STANHOPE

Yes, it is proposed that we should take the Import Duties (Emergency Provisions) Bill, the Income Tax Procedure (Emergency Provisions) Bill, the Government and Other Stocks (Emergency Provisions) Bill, the Exchequer and Audit Departments (Temporary Provisions) Bill and the Sheriff Courts (Scotland) Bill. I understand that the Control of Employment Bill has been postponed.

House adjourned at four minutes before four o'clock.
