Clause 2, page 3, line 36, after ("before") insert ("or on")

Clause 2, page 3, line 41, after ("before") insert ("or on")

Page 4, line 8, at end insert the following new subsection: ("(2) The following consequential Amendments shall be made in the principal Act—

  1. (a) In Section three, in subsection (2), for the words 'accept the application,' there shall be substituted the words 'accept the specification';
  2. (b) in Section three, in subsection (5), for the words 'application shall be accepted,' there shall be substituted the words 'specification shall be accepted';
  3. (c) in Section three, in subsection (6), for the words 'an application has been 50 accepted,' there shall be substituted the words 'a specification has been accepted'; and
  4. (d) in Section ninety-one, in subsection (2c), the words 'to accept an application for a patent, or,' shall be repealed.")

Clause 5, page 7, line 23, at end insert the following new subsection— ("(5) This Act shall come into operation at the expiration of one month from the date on which it is passed.")
