THE PAYMASTER-GENERAL (The EARL OF MUNSTER)

My Lords, the object of this small Bill is to confirm a Provisional Order made by the Secretary of State under the Marriages Validity Acts, 1905 and 1924. The Order to be confirmed by the Bill is the normal type of Marriage Provisional Order and, as your Lordships will be aware, the Order has no effect until it has been confirmed by Parliament. I beg to move.
