VISCOUNT GAGEMy Lords, these are clarifying Amendments. Under the provisions of the Bill an area outside London which now drains into the London sewers would continue to be exempt from the provisions of the Bill even if it ceased to drain to those sewers. The object of the Amendments is to bring such an area in that event within the scope of the Bill. The Amendment to line 10 is consequential upon the first. I beg to move that these Amendments be agreed to.
