THE EARL OF LUCANMy Lords, this is a Bill to implement a scheme approved and certified by the Charity Commissioners. The scheme was published in their Report for 1936. The object is to vary the purpose of the charity so as to enable it to carry on similar work more suited to modern conditions, and it was found that it required an Act of Parliament to do this. I beg to move that the Bill be now read a second time.
