My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend the Chairman of Committees, I beg to move that the India and Burma Orders Committee be appointed.

§ Moved, That a Select Committee be appointed to consider all drafts of Orders laid before Parliament under Section 309 of the Government of India Act, 1935, or Section 157 of the Government of Burma Act, 1935, in the present Session; and that the Lords following, with the Chairman of Committees, be named of the Committee:

M. Zetland,
V. Goschen,
L. Strabolgi,
L. Ker (M. Lothian),
L. Stanmore,
L. Rankeillour.
