HL Deb 27 July 1936 vol 102 c268
LORD HUTCHISON OF MONTROSE

My Lords, I beg to move that the Order, as reported from the Special Orders Committee on Tuesday last, be approved. As your Lordships know, this Order simply terminates the operation of what is commonly known as the "Standstill" Order. The Regulations which your Lordships have just approved not only supersede the existing Regulations, but they also do away with the "Standstill" Order.

Moved, That the Draft Order, as reported from the Special Orders Committee on Tuesday last, be approved.—(Lord Hutchison of Montrose.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
