§ THE LORD PRIVY SEAL (VISCOUNT HALIFAX)My Lords, I beg to move the Motion which stands in my name, which is a repetition of a Resolution that was moved in similar terms by the noble Viscount on the Woolsack last Session.
§ Moved, That this House do concur in the Resolution communicated by the Commons, namely: That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of Lords and Commons be appointed to consider and report on measures for the better conservation and organisation of water resources and supplies in England and Wales.—(Viscount Halifax.)
