HL Deb 02 April 1936 vol 100 cc466-8
LORD MARLEY

My Lords, before the House adjourns, could the noble Viscount give us any information about the proposed course of business for next week?

VISCOUNT HALIFAX

My Lords, I am very much obliged to the noble Lord. On Monday it is proposed to take the Report stage of the Unemployment Insurance (Agriculture) Bill. On Tuesday there will be the Third Reading of that Bill, and several Orders under the Government of India Act. On Wednesday, as the noble Lord knows, there is a Motion on the Paper in the name of the noble Lord, Lord Snell, and on Thursday there will be a Royal Commission, the Second Reading of the Army and Air Force (Annual) Bill, and, I hope, the Adjournment.

LORD MARLEY

Will Thursday's business be taken in the morning?

VISCOUNT HALIFAX

Yes, I think, for general convenience, that will be so.

LORD MARLEY

I am very much obliged to the noble Viscount.

House adjourned at half-past seven o'clock.
