THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF ONSLOW)

My Lords, I beg to move the Motion which stands in my name on the Order Paper. This is the Committee which your Lordships sanctioned by the Amendment to Standing Orders which I moved last week.

Moved, That a Select Committee be appointed to consider all drafts of Orders laid before Parliament under Sections 309 and 475 of the Government of India Act, 1935, in the present Session; and that the Lords following, with the Chairman of Committees, be named of the Committee—
