Page 9, line 16, at end, insert: ("( ) The licensing authority shall, upon receiving from the holder of a licence for the time being in force a written request in that behalf accompanied by the licence, cancel the licence, which shall thereupon cease to be in force.

My Lords, the object of these Amendments is to allow tracks to surrender a licence, if the licence is no longer desired; just as a corresponding provision has been made in the case of existing tracks.
