Clause 11, page 10, line 18, leave out from ("court") to the end of line "20, and insert: ("having regard to the circumstances of the case, including the terms of any contract between the parties, to be just and equitable, and any order made under this section may direct that any such contract as aforesaid shall cease to have effect in so far as it inconsistent with the terms of the order.")

My Lords, this Amendment is inserted to make it clear that in deciding upon the apportionment of the expenses incurred in complying with the requirements of Clause 10, the Courts are not to be bound by the terms of any lease. I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.
