HL Deb 17 July 1934 vol 93 cc687-8

Returned from the Commons, agreed to, with Amendments.

VISCOUNT GAGE

My Lords, there are two Commons Amendments upon this Bill and they are perfectly minor ones. The first is in subsection (3) of Clause 34, and gives a more precise definition of a bath. The second is to omit subsection (2) of Clause 78, and is of a purely drafting nature. I beg to move that these Amendments be considered.

Moved, That the Commons Amendments be now considered.—(Viscount Gage.)

VISCOUNT GAGE

My Lords, I beg to move that the first Amendment to Clause 34, subsection (3), be agreed to.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(Viscount Gage.)

VISCOUNT GAGE

I beg to move that the second Amendment, to omit subsection (2) of Clause 78, be agreed to.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(Viscount Gage.)
