The Committee, having had their attention called to a proposal by the Office of Works to provide new carpets in the Library, appointed the following Sub-Committee to consider the matter:—

Earl Beauchamp, Lord Wigan (Earl of Crawford). Lord Colebrooke, Lord Ponsonby, with the Clerk of the Parliaments and the Librarian.
