HL Deb 29 May 1930 vol 77 c1192

Page 10, line 14, leave out ("administrative").

EARL RUSSELL

My Lords, this is a misdescription. The Administrative County of London will include the London County Council area, which it is not desired to include because the arrangements regarding the visiting committee of that area are dealt with in the London County Council (General Powers) Act, 1915. It is not desired, however, to exclude from the clause the City of London, and that is the object of leaving out the word "administrative."

Moved, That this. House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(Earl Russell.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
