HL Deb 25 July 1929 vol 75 c272
THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (LORD PARMOOR)

My Lords, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to extend the Children (Employment Abroad) Act, 1913, to persons under the age of eighteen years. I do this now in order that when we come back after the adjournment we may have business to go on with. I am anxious that we should. I may add that I propose to take the Second Reading on the Thursday after the Tuesday on which we return.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 1a. (Lord Parmoor.)

On Question, Bill read 1a, and to be printed.
