HL Deb 21 February 1929 vol 72 cc1041-2

Order of the Day for the Third Reading read.

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE DUCHY OF LANCASTER (LORD CUSHENDUN)

My Lords, this Bill, the purpose of which is to unify the pension system of the Foreign Office and the Diplomatic Service, is a Money Bill, the provisions of which I explained to your Lordships on the Second Heading. I do not think there is anything that I can add to what I then said, and I will content myself with moving that the Bill be now read a third time.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 3a.—(Lord Cushendun.)

On Question, Bill read 3a, and passed.

House adjourned at ten minutes past five o'clock.
