[The EARL OF DONOUGHMORE in the Chair.]

Clauses 1 and 2 agreed to.

LOUD PARMOOR had given Notice to move to leave out from Part I of the Schedule the reference to Section 1 of the Aliens Restriction (Amendment) Act, 1919, which the Bill proposes to continue in force until December 31, 1929. The noble and learned Lord said: I do not intend to move my Amendment to this Bill. I had hoped to have an opportunity, and I tried, to see Lord Desborough. I wanted to ascertain one or two points; I do not wish to make an unnecessary or exaggerated statement. I therefore do not propose to move my Amendment this afternoon.

Schedule agreed to.

Bill reported without amendment.
