LORD LAMBOURNE

My Lords, I beg leave to ask your permission to bring in a short Bill of two clauses, which is really an amendment to the Corruption Act, 1906. The Bill has for its object the doing away with the fiat of the Attorney-General. I beg to move that it be read a first time.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 1a.—(Lord Lambourne.)

On Question, Bill read 1a, and to be printed.
