§ VISCOUNT PEELMy Lords, I beg to make the Motion standing in my name with reference to the Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Gateshead Gas Company's Order. I postponed this Order at the 176 request of the noble Lord, Lord Muir Mackenzie, from yesterday until to-day. I can tell him that I have looked into this matter carefully and I can assure him and your Lordships that this is an Order that ought to be approved, and that full notice has been given. I beg to move.
§ Moved, That the Draft Special Order proposed to be made by the Board of Trade under Section 10 of the Gas Regulation Act, 1920, on the application of the Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Gateshead Gas Company, which was presented on the ninth day of December, 1924, be approved.—(Viscount Peel.)
