HL Deb 28 October 1920 vol 42 c124
THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

What will the business be for next week?

THE EARL OF CRAWFORD

So far as the Government are concerned there is no business, except possibly the introduction by my noble friend Lord Peel of the Bill dealing with the acquisition of land—an emergency Bill.

THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

That would be on Tuesday, I suppose?

THE EARL OF CRAWFORD

The Second Reading will not be taken next week in any case. The learned Clerk of the Parliaments reminds me that my noble friend Lord Curzon may have to submit a Motion—but, of course, it will not he done without notice—relating to emergency meetings of Parliament during times of emergency. Notice has been handed in, and it will be in print to-morrow; otherwise there is no business, so far as I know, except what appears on the Paper.

Moved, That the House do adjourn until four o'clock to-morrow.—(The Earl of Crawford.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
