HL Deb 28 October 1920 vol 42 c123
THE CHANCELLOR OF THE DUCHY OF LANCASTER (THE EARL OF CRAWFORD)

My Lords, I suggest for the convenience of the House that to-morrow we should meet at four o'clock.

THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

For Commons Amendments?

THE EARL OF CRAWFORD

In that event, yes. It had been suggested that we should meet at an earlier hour, but I understand that from a legal point of view it would be convenient if the House met at four o'clock. I hope that the Amendments which your Lordships have inserted in the Emergency Powers Bill will prove acceptable, and that the business to-morrow will be purely formal. None the less I think it advisable to meet at four o'clock to provide for any possible conversations that may take place between the two Houses.
