§ Order of the Day for the Third Reading read.
THE CIVIL LORD OF THE ADMIRALTY (THE EARL OF ONSLOW)My Lords, in moving that this Bill be read a third time, perhaps I may be permitted to reply to a question asked by my noble friend Lord Askwith, on the Second Reading. He asked whether any steps had been taken towards the appointment of an Advisory Committee to act in an auxiliary capacity to the Health Department of the International Labour Conference. In reply I would say that no such Committee has yet been appointed. The Health Department itself recently came into being and it is for that Department, of course, to take any action with a view to appointing any committee such as that referred to by my noble friend.

§ LORD ASKWITHIt is very regrettable that this Committee should not be appointed and I hope that will be clone before the next Conference meets at Geneva.
