§ The Committee sanctioned arrangements for enabling Law Lords to have the use of shorthand writers for the dictation of their reserved judgments, and for the typing of the judgments in lieu of printing.
§ The Committee also sanctioned, in the case of nautical assessors, the payment of travelling expenses and of a subsistence allowance of £1 1s. a day in addition to their attendance fee.
