§ EARL STANHOPEMy Lords, I have given notice that I shall to-morrow move that Lord Parser be added to the noble Lords who are to constitute this Select Committee. I think that your Lordships should know that His Majesty Government asked me last week whether I would allow them to assist me in nominating the Committee, and naturally I agreed to that suggestion. Therefore the names that are brought forward to-day form a Committee which has been agreed upon between His Majesty's Government and myself.
