HL Deb 14 August 1919 vol 36 c875

CITY AND SOUTH LONDON RAILWAY BILL.

THE ACTING CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF KTNTORE)

As the promoters of the Leicester Corporation Bill and the City and South London Railway Bill are desirous that their Bills should receive the Royal Assent before the recess, I hope that your Lordships will be pleased to dispense with Standing Order No. 143 so that the Bills may be read a third time.

Moved, That Standing Order No. 143 be dispensed with in respect of the said Bills.—(The Earl of Kintore.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

Bills read 3a (with the Amendments) and passed, and returned to the Commons.
