§ Moved, That the House do now resolve itself into Committee on these Bills.—(Viscount Sandhurst).
§ THE EARL OF SELBORNEIs it not rather a new procedure to commit Bills en bloc?
§ THE LORD CHANCELLORlf the slightest objection is raised to the procedure of taking the Bills en bloc, that course will naturally not be adopted. Before the Motion was made, it was ascertained that no single Amendment was on the Paper in relation to any one of these Bills, and it was thought that it might be economical of your Lordships' time to take them together. Of course, if any member of your Lordships' House desires that the Bills should be taken separately, it shall be done.
§ THE EARL OF SELBORNEI do not think that a precedent of the kind proposed ought to be made without some consideration.
§ THE LORD CHANCELLORVery well; the Bills shall be taken separately.
