HL Deb 03 January 1918 vol 27 cc339-40

Order of the Day for the Second Reading read.

VISCOUNT SANDHURST

My Lords, this is a Bill which has passed through the House of Commons, at every stage without any comment whatever. The reasons for the Bill are set out in the short Memorandum, and I think I shall best consult the convenience of the House by moving the Second Reading without saying anything further.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 2a.—(Viscount Sandhurst.)

On Question, Bill read 2a, and committed to a Committee of the Whole House on Tuesday next.
