HL Deb 26 November 1914 vol 18 c198
THE MARQUESS OF CREWE

My Lords, I understand that it will be necessary for the House to meet formally later this evening in order to receive some Bills which will be coining up from another place with a view of their being at our disposition to-morrow. I will therefore move that the House do adjourn during pleasure. But I may state, for the information of noble Lords opposite, that we propose that the House should meet at half-past three to-morrow afternoon, if that hour is convenient to them, and we hope that it will be possible for the Commission for giving the Royal Assent to the Bills to take place in the course of the evening. The House would then be able to adjourn for a lengthened period.

House adjourned during pleasure.

House resumed by the Lord COLEBROOKE.
