"Table C of Part I of the Fourth Schedule."—(Lord Strachie.)

LORD STRACHIE

I might explain that Table C of Part 1 of the Fourth Schedule only deals with persons between 50 and 60, and the disability having been removed, that Table is no longer necessary.

On Question, Amendment agreed to.

LORD STRACHIE

My Lords, may I make an appeal to the House to allow this Bill to go through its subsequent stages now, in order that the Bill with the Amendments, although they are only drafting ones, may go back at the earliest moment to the other House.

Then (Standing Order No. XXXIX having been suspended): Amendments reported: Bill read 3a with the Amendments, and passed, and returned to the Commons: Bill to be printed as amended. (No. 186.)
