HL Deb 15 May 1912 vol 11 c1070
THE MARQUESS OF CREWE

Your Lordships are aware that the House as a rule does not sit on Ascension Day, which is to-morrow, but there is a special reason for our meeting in order to propose, which I shall have the honour of doing, the presentation of an Address to His Majesty the King and one also to Queen Alexandra conveying the condolence of this House with their Majesties upon the lamentable death of the King of Denmark. I understand that it would meet the convenience of the House if we assembled at three o'clock to-morrow afternoon.

House adjourned at Seven o'clock, till To-morrow, half-past Ten o'clock.
