HL Deb 22 April 1912 vol 11 c799

Order of the Day for the Second Reading read.

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (VISCOUNT HALDANE)

I ask your Lordships to read this Bill a second time. The only amendments are amendments of, I might almost say, a routine character. They are small changes of no importance, and probably it is in Committee that the best opportunity of explaining what they are will arise. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 2a.—(Viscount Haldane.)

On Question, Bill read 2a, and committed to a Committee of the Whole House To-morrow.
