HL Deb 10 May 1911 vol 8 c312
THE FIRST COMMISSIONER OF WORKS (EARL BEAUCHAMP)

My Lords, I am sorry to say that Lord Balfour of Burleigh, the Chairman of Committees, is laid up, and in these circumstances it becomes necessary to ask another noble Lord to take his place for the time being. I beg to move that Lord Camperdown be so appointed.

Moved, That the Earl of Camperdown be appointed to take the Chair in all Committees upon Private Bills in the absence of the Chairman of Committees by reason of illness, except where it shall have been otherwise directed by the House,—(Earl Beauchamp.)

On Question, Motion agreed to; and ordered accordingly.

House adjourned at five minute before Seven o'clock, till Tomorrow, half-past Ten o'clock.
