§ THE FIRST COMMISSIONER OF WORKS (EARL BEAUCHAMP)My Lords, I am sorry to say that Lord Balfour of Burleigh, the Chairman of Committees, is laid up, and in these circumstances it becomes necessary to ask another noble Lord to take his place for the time being. I beg to move that Lord Camperdown be so appointed.
