HL Deb 05 December 1911 vol 10 c569
LORD BALFOUR OF BURLEIGH

I should like to ask the noble Lord the Secretary for Scotland what, he proposes to do with regard to the House Letting and Rating (Scotland) Bill, the next stage of which, I understand, is Second Reading.

THE SECRETARY FOR SCOTLAND (LORD PENTLAND)

I had proposed, subject to the convenience of the House, to take it on an early day—say on Thursday of this week if that were possible; but I am not aware what the business is. The Bill will not take long, and perhaps the noble Lord will allow me to consult with those in authority and intimate to him the day on which it is proposed to take the Second Reading.
