HL Deb 17 August 1911 vol 9 c1138

Order of the day for the Second Reading read.

THE EARL OF CAMPERDOWN

My Lords, this is a small Bill which was put forward by members on both sides in the other House. It extends the powers conferred on a local authority, enabling them to carry sewers within their district to any body of trustees or commissioners authorised to supply water by any Local Act within the limits of such water supply. There was no objection to the Bill in the other House, and I hope your Lordships will give it a Second Reading.

Moved, That the Bill he now read 2a.—(The Earl of Camperdown.)

On Question, Bill read 2a: Committee negatived.

Then (Standing Order XXXIX having been suspended), Bill read 3a, and passed.
