HL Deb 11 October 1909 vol 3 c1069

Amendments reported (according to order).

The EARL OF CAMPERDOWN, who had given notice of an Amendment to leave out Clause 12 and to insert a new clause in its place, intimated that he had given private notice to the noble Lord the Secretary for Scotland that he did not propose to move the Amendment at this stage.

LORD PENTLAND then moved the insertion of a new clause after Clause 15.

Amendment moved— After Clause 15 to insert the following new clause: '16. Nothing in this Act shall prejudice or affect the provisions of the Removal Terms (Scotland) Act, 1886, or the Removal Terms (Scotland) Act, 1886, Amendment Act, 1890, except in so far as such provisions are inconsistent with this Act.'"—(Lord Pentland.)

On Question, Amendment agreed to.

Bill to be read 3a on Monday next, and to be printed as amended. (No. 195.)
