HL Deb 25 February 1909 vol 1 cc222-3
THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF ONSLOW)

My Lords, there are a certain number of Committees of your Lordships' House which have to be appointed at the commencement of each session. The names consist mainly of those noble Lords who were appointed last year, with some additions and alterations chiefly due to changes in the composition of your Lordships' House. I move, in the first instance, the appointment of the Committee of Selection.

Moved, That the Lords following, viz.:

with the Chairman of Committees, be appointed a Committee to select and propose to the House the names of the Five Lords to form a Select Committee for the consideration of each opposed Private Bill.—(The Earl of Onslow.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
