The King's Answer to the Address of Monday, the 18th instant, reported by the Lord Steward (E. Beauchamp) as follows:— I have received your Address praying that I will give directions that a monument be erected in the Collegiate Church of St. Peter, Westminster, to the memory of the late Right Honourable Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman, with an inscription expressive of the high sense entertained by the House of Lords of the eminent services rendered by him to the country in Parliament, and in great Offices of State. I shall give directions in accordance with your Address.
