LORD ELLENBOROUGHI beg to ask the Government if the Returns connected with repairs and alterations of His Majesty's ships which the Secretary of State for the Colonies agreed to produce on the 1st April will be completed and published before Parliament reassembles in October.
§ THE EARL OF GRANARDIn reply to my noble friend I think the Return he asks for was promised by the First Lord of the Admiralty. I have inquired when it will be ready, and I am informed that it will be ready for printing by next week. I hope to be able to lay it on the Table of your Lordships' House in the course of the next three weeks or a month.
