The Lord Chancellor acquainted the House, that the Clerk of the Parliaments had laid upon the Table the Certificates from the Examiners, that the further Standing Orders applicable to the following Bills have been complied with. Barry Railway [H.L.]; Highgate Hill Tramways [H.L.]; Rochester Bridge [H.L.]; Aire and Calder Navigation [H.L.]; Cardiff Railway [H.L.]; Rhymney Railway [H.L.]; London, Brighton, and South Coast Railway [H.L.]

Also the Certificate that the Standing Orders have not been complied with in respect of the Petition for additional provision in the following Bill. London County Council (Tramways and Improvements) [H.L.].

The same were ordered to lie on the Table.

Argentine North Eastern Railway Bill—Petition of Messrs. Durnford and Company, of. 315, Caxton House, Westminster, London, praying that Standing Order No. 86A may be dispensed with, and that the Bill may be read a first time; read, and ordered to lie on the Table, and Standing Order No. 86A to be considered on Monday next, in order to it being dispensed with.
