HL Deb 30 July 1907 vol 179 cc715-6

Order of the day for Second Reading read.

THE EARL OF GRANARD

said: This Bill is another Post Office Bill. As the noble Marquess opposite is well aware, it is to give the Postmaster-General power to acquire lands in certain districts. The Bill has been laid on the Table of this House for some time, and there has been no opposition so far offered to it. The Bill has passed the House of Commons, and I trust your Lordships will give it a Second Reading.

On Question Bill read 2a, and committed for Tuesday next.
