HL Deb 30 July 1907 vol 179 c737
LORD COURTNEY OF PENWITH

My Lords, before your Lordships adjourn, I ask leave to present a Bill dealing with the law of damages recoverable in cases of fatal accidents. Your Lordships will not desire me to explain the scope of this Bill on this occasion; out the law in respect of damages differs in cases of fatal and non-fatal accidents, and the purpose of the Bill is to assimilate it.
