HL Deb 21 August 1907 vol 181 cc705-6
THE EARL OF MAYO

I should like to ask the noble Marquess the Leader of the House when we are to consider the Commons Amendments to the Lords Amendments to the Evicted Tenants (Ireland) Bill.

THE DUKE OF NORTHUMBERLAND

I understand that the Committee stage of the Deceased Wife's Sister Bill has been put down for Friday. If the Scottish Land Bill is to be taken on Friday I should like to know which Bill will come first. There are several Amendments on the Paper to the Deceased Wife's Sister Bill.

THE MARQUESS OF RIPON

I feel considerable difficulty in putting down the Evicted Tenants Bill for Friday owing to the other business on the Paper for that day. I should think the best course would be to set down the consideration of the Commons Amendments to the Lords Amendments to the Evicted Tenants Bill for to-morrow, when a time for their consideration can be appointed.
