HL Deb 21 November 1906 vol 165 c729
* THE EARL OF JERSEY

My Lords, I rise to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he proposes to lay on the Table of the House any Papers in connection with the New Hebrides Convention.

* THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE COLONIES (The Earl of ELGIN)

Yes, my Lords, the Papers will be laid, but in accordance with practice they cannot be laid until they have all been received by the Governments to whom they have been addressed. That will take some time, and as soon as they have been received by the Governments of Australia and New Zealand I shall lay them on the Table.
