HL Deb 17 May 1906 vol 157 c586
The EARL OF FEVERSHAM

My Lords, I beg to present petitions from several parishes and townships in the north riding of Yorkshire. The petitioners state that they are satisfied with the religious education given to the children by the clergy and teachers in school hours according to the principles of the Church of England, and they desire and pray that the religious education thus given may be continued in the future. These petitions have been signed by nearly every parent or guardian of the children in those several parishes.
