1062§ THE LORD CHANCELLOR (Lord LOREBURN)My Lords, this Bill is for the consolidation of the law relating to Naval Prize of War. It has been long desired by the Admiralty, and has been passed through this House I think more than once by the late Government. I do not know why it was that such a useful measure did not proceed further. I hope it will have a better fate this time.
