Order of the day for receiving Report of Amendments read.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR (LORD LOREBURN): My Lords, there is one important Amendment which was made in Standing Committee relating to appeal in the case of capital punishment. Words have been inserted to the effect that rules under this Act shall provide that the Court shall be available for this purpose as well during vacation as during the ordinary sittings, and in this way such an appeal will be heard at once and without delay.
