The first of the Amendments I have to move was asked for by Sir Edward Carson and agreed to by both Parties. The other is merely to extend the scope of the clause in a useful direction.

Amendments moved— In Clause 1, page 1, line 7, after the word 'may' to insert the words 'if it is desired for the purpose of complying with the requirement of the law of that country to obtain the certificate hereinafter mentioned.
