The LORD CHANCELLOR acquainted the House, That the Clerk of the Parliaments had laid upon the Table the Certificate from the Examiners that the Standing Orders applicable to the following Bill have been complied with:—Metropolitan Police Provisional Order.

And also the Certificates that the further Standing Orders applicable to the following Bills have been complied with:—Brompton, Chatham, Gillingham, and Rochester Water; Walker and Wallsend Union Gas; Hull, Barnsley, and West Riding Junction Railway and Dock.

The same were ordered to lie on the Table.

West Cumberland Electric Tramways (Extension of Time) Bill [H.L.]; Hessle Gas Bill [H.L.]; Clyde Navigation (Re-constitution) Bill [H.L.]. Read 3a, and passed, and sent to the Commons.

Morley Corporation Bill. Brought from the Commons; read 1a; and referred to the Examiners

McConnell's Divorce Bill [H.L.]. House in Committee (according to order). An Amendment made. Standing Committee negatived. The Report of Amendment to be received To-morrow.
