HL Deb 06 May 1904 vol 134 c637
EARL SPENCER

asked the Marquess of Lansdowne whether he could inform the House what he proposed to do about the Whitsuntide holidays.

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS (The Marquess of LANSDOWNE)

It has been suggested to me that we might adjourn on the same day as the other House of Parliament, namely, the 19th inst., and that we should meet again on Tuesday, 7th June. I hope that will meet your Lordships' convenience.

House adjourned at twenty minutes before Five o'clock, to Monday next, a quarter before Eleven o'clock.
